This blog is a personal blog written and edited by me, Katy Rose. I write about Food & Wine topics that are appealing to me, and my first question is always: Did I enjoy it? As a rule, I strive to right positive blog posts on special food experiences that I would like to share with my readers. I am not a restaurant critic; and I will never write about an experience or product that I have not experienced firsthand – and enjoyed. My role is to share stories and celebrate creativity in food, wine and other tasty treats. 

This blog is an expression of my interests; researched and maintained in my free time, however this doesn’t mean that my time is free. I always welcome contact regarding Food and Wine products, Restaurant reviews, Food & Wine events and launches. Please contact me for more details about paid coverage on this blog.

I welcome suggestions and recommendations; I am always looking out for special moments and creative people to feature on Katy’s Table. I do not solicit free merchandise or experiences, although I am often hosted by brands that I feel comfortable endorsing. This blog accepts forms of cash advertising, sponsorship, paid insertions or other forms of compensation. I am compensated to provide opinion on products, services, websites and various other topics.

Even though I may receive compensation for my posts or advertisements, I always give my honest opinions, findings, beliefs, or experiences on those topics or products. I work full time as a digital Content Producer for a South African food website. I have extensive food, wine and hospitality experience that I draw on, and on a daily basis I am interacting on Twitter and Instagram in my professional capacity.  At this time, I am also expanding my Freelance Social Media portfolio to include Restaurant and Food brands; providing paid Social Media content and coverage on a contract basis.
